I'm Rachel!
I don't typically enjoy being in front of a camera, but for you just this once, here I am! I'm a Minnesota based photographer who focuses on capturing weddings, couples, and love. Over 10 years ago I got my first camera and taught myself photography by taking photos of my neighbors horses (yes, horses haha)! Since then you’ll rarely find me without my camera close by. Photography has always been my favorite way to express my inner artist. I love capturing the raw moments of people's lives. I believe in real and authentic photographs that tell the story of how it felt to be there.
A little bit about me...
I am married to my best friend and high school sweetheart, and he often comes along as my favorite second shooter. When I'm not at a shoot or editing you can find me cuddled up on the couch reading a book or playing with my two kids. I love all things vintage and most weekends I end up wandering around a thrift store. When it comes to my life and my work I want Jesus to have it all. I will always strive to honor God through my work and I thank him daily for blessing me with the job that little Rachel always dreamed of. Photographing weddings has always been my dream, and I still can’t believe this is my actual job!! I love meeting my clients and getting to capture their unique love. I always make it a priority to walk away from each session with some new friends!
